Finance Officer

Nixon McQuade are partnering with a market leading business as they look to appoint a Finance Officer.

The Finance Officer will report to the Director and will play a key role in developing processes and managing the transactional finance team.

The Role

• Accounts payable duties including managing supplier queries and reconciling statements of statements of supplier accounts before payment run.
• Preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations
• Preparation checks and submission of VAT returns.
• Managing and reviewing internal processes of the Accounts Teams
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

The Person

• Qualified Accounting Technician or relevant experience in a busy finance environment
• Experience of managing a team is essential.
• A flexible team player with the ability to support colleagues in the delivery of objectives.
• Strong numeracy and IT skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
