Finance Director

Nixon McQuade are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Director on behalf of a leading business based in Co. Tyrone.

Our client is a leading company in their industry and prides itself on providing first-class customer service and high-quality products to its clients.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Finance Director to join our client’s team of professionals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with executive leadership to develop financial strategies and operational plans, help the company achieve its financial goals, provide financial and administrative oversight, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Role:

• Manage and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management activities.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management to facilitate decision-making and planning.
• Develop and manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other financial partners to ensure financial stability and risk management.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (5 years post qualified)
• Minimum eight years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least three years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably at Director level.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet internal and external deadlines.
